I spent the last two days putting plastic privacy strips into the chain link fence that separates our backyard from the neighbor's. Yesterday I was joined by a very sweet older kitten, maybe about nine months old. She was very friendly and jumped in my lap when I gave her the chance. She appeared to be pretty clean and free of fleas. She's grey with tan splotches, white feet and a white ruff. Kinda odd looking, but her sweetness makes up for it. I gave her catfood and water, which she was interested in but wasn't ravenous. When I went out there this morning to finish the fence job, she was curled up on a cushion and was very happy to see me. She turned her nose up at the piece of fried egg I offered her, but enjoyed the little sliver of pepperoni I then gave her. :)

I think I'm going to have to take her into the vet to get fixed. I know we can't adopt her (five cats in the house is ENOUGH), but I hope we can find a home for her. Anyone interested?
