This recipe came about because I had made vanilla icing for blueberry scones which I ended up not needing. So I had some heavy cream mixed with confectioner's sugar and vanilla. In the past I have enjoyed Buffalo Trace Cream Liqueur, so I figured I could make something similar. Some googling brought me to this recipe:

Whatever I mixed up was so yummy, but unfortunately I didn't keep track of exact amounts. I just added stuff until it tasted right. So tonight I decided to actually measure my ingredients. This comes pretty close to what I made the first time:

1 part bourbon
1 part heavy cream
1 part whole milk
1 part cold brew coffee (pre-dilution)
a bit of vanilla extract
a drop of almond extract (use very sparingly, as it can overpower other flavors)
Sweetener to taste (I used powdered sugar so it would dissolve quickly)

Pour ingredients together, shake vigorously. Sip as is, pour over ice, or use as a delicious creamer for coffee.
